WESTIN HOTELS & RESORTS, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio, and goop, actress Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle brand, recently launched “Sleep Training for Grown-Ups,” a three-part video series to help travelers improve sleep at home and while traveling. The series follows the 2024 launch of the next generation Heavenly Bed, a mattress developed and offered by Westin, and extends the brand’s focus on sleep through guidance from wellness professionals.

The program features Paltrow and Dr. Cheri Mah, a sleep physician and research scientist, who explore how daily routines affect sleep and share science-based guidance on building habits in sleep, diet and exercise, Westin said in a statement.

“For over 25 years, Westin has focused on sleep while traveling, starting with the Heavenly Bed,” said Peggy Roe, Marriott’s executive vice president and chief customer officer. “Sleep is a core commitment. Through this partnership with goop and Gwyneth Paltrow, we’re combining wellness guidance with Westin’s sleep offerings to help travelers wake up rested.”

Topics include strategies for managing the "First Night Effect" while traveling, recommended room temperatures (60 to 67 degrees F), and misconceptions such as sleep debt and napping, the statement said. The series shares guidance on adjusting routines to support sleep and health.

“Of all the wellness topics that have captured my interest over the years, sleep has remained the most essential,” said Paltrow. “Partnering with renowned sleep physician and research scientist Dr. Cheri Mah, alongside Westin—a brand deeply dedicated to the importance of a good night’s sleep—is an incredible opportunity to explore and share insights on a fundamental pillar of well-being. Sleep is vital to our health, and I’m excited to help bring this invaluable knowledge to broader audiences, empowering more people to prioritize their rest.”

Sleep Training for Grown-Ups was produced by UNR Studios, with executive producers Justin Barocas and Carlos Naude and director Ora DeKornfel.

The series is available on goop’s Sleep Training Hub, which includes content on topics such as jet lag, overnight flights, sound baths and sleep scores, the statement said. The partnership also includes a Sleep Shop, where consumers can purchase Westin’s Heavenly Bed and products across beauty, wellness, fashion and home.

Meanwhile, Hilton Worldwide Holdings is working with mental health firm Calm to offer free guided meditations, sleep stories and mindfulness content through its Connected Room Experience.
