Vision Hospitality appoints two new executives

Mucciano is VP of sales and marketing, McCormick is regional VP of operations

VISION HOSPITALITY GROUP has filled two key positions on its executive team. Lynn Mucciano is vice president of sales and marketing and Jan McCormick is the Chattanooga, Tennessee-based company’s regional vice president of operations in Nashville.

Vision Hospitality is led by Mitch Patel as president and CEO.


Most recently, Mucciano was vice president of sales and marketing for Maverick Hotels and Restaurants. Prior to that she was vice president of sales and marketing for The Procaccianti Group and corporate director of sales and marketing for Turnberry Associates.

She has served on the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Historic Hotels of America, Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International. She also served on the board of directors for the Sales Special Interest Group and as president, for the Greater South Florida Chapter.

Mucciano holds a certification in hospitality business acumen from HSMAI and is a graduate of Florida International University's School of Hospitality and Tourism Management.

McCormick most recently served as general manager at Davidson Hotels, regional vice president of operations at Benchmark Global Hospitality and vice president of operations for Prism Hotels and Resorts. He was the first general manager recognized by Bill Kimpton for the financial turnaround of Kimpton Hotel’s Hotel Triton.

Last week, Vision opened The TownePlace Suites by Marriott Tuscaloosa University Area in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

AAHOA President and CEO Laura Lee Blake congratulated them on their promotions.

Mark Hoplamazian, Hyatt Hotels Corp. president and CEO, has been named the 2025 Cornell Hospitality Icon of the Year. Bo Patel is the new chief operating officer of Coury Hospitality, a Dallas-based hospitality management firm that recently added nine hotel management agreements in California. He will oversee the firm’s West Coast growth, operations, and brand partnerships, focusing on the Concert Hospitality division, which manages branded full- and select-service hotels.

Previously, Patel led a team managing a family office real estate portfolio worth more than $1 billion, Coury Holdings, the parent company of Coury Hospitality, said in a statement.
