VISION HOSPITALITY GROUP is working with Reeco to deploy its AI-driven procure-to-pay platform across more than 40 properties, aiming to automate accounts payable processes. Reeco's technology eliminates paperwork and manual invoice handling by automatically reading vendor invoices, recognizing patterns and reconciling payments.
Based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Vision was founded in 1997 and is led by founder and CEO Mitch Patel.
“My role touches many areas of the business—from lenders and brands to investors and general managers—so efficiency is key,” said Arlene McCullough, Vision’s senior vice president of accounting. “When I met the team at Reeco, I was impressed by their enthusiasm, intelligence and innovation. I've recommended them to several companies because they truly want to make the hospitality industry better through technology.”
Vision presently operates 42 hotels across brands including Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International, Hyatt Hotels Corp. and IHG Hotels & Resorts, the duo said in a statement. Reeco helps operators reduce costs, increase efficiency and improve profit margins by connecting all aspects of procurement and back-of-house operations.
James Hansen, Reeco’s vice president of business development, said the collaboration marks progress for both Reeco and the industry.
“Hospitality never stops,” Hansen said. “The demands of running a hotel are 24/7, and time is one of the most valuable assets for general managers and team members. Processes that once took hours can now be completed in minutes.”
In March, Vision appointed Mary Beth Cutshall as chief growth officer, responsible for expanding the company’s U.S. hotel portfolio.
