Lisa Jordan, the senior director of digital marketing at Red Roof, has been named one of the top 25 extraordinary minds in sales, marketing, revenue optimization, and distribution for 2023 by The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International. She will be recognized at a special reception in New York in February.
This recognition is part of HSMAI’s 21st annual compilation, acknowledging exceptional achievement and leadership in the field, Red Roof said in a statement.
“We celebrate HSMAI’s 2023 class of Top 25 honorees in hotel sales, marketing, revenue optimization, and distribution with great admiration,” said Robert Gilbert, president and CEO of HSMAI. “Through their creativity, dedication, and impact, these professionals not only excel in their respective fields but have set benchmarks of excellence for the industry, inspiring us all.”
Jordan has nearly 20 years of hospitality industry experience. Prior to her role at Red Roof, she held executive positions at Hostelling International USA and served as a director with Sabre Hospitality Solutions. A graduate of The George Washington University, Jordan earned a master’s degree in Tourism Administration from the GWU School of Business.
“Lisa is a manifestation of everything we look for in a great thinker. She’s a powerful leader and a change-maker,” said Marina MacDonald, Red Roof’s chief marketing officer. “Her boundless creativity serves as inspiration to our team and to me.”
In addition to the top 25 reception, Jordan will be featured in an HSMAI special report, receive a personalized award and will be recognized moving forward as a top 25 Mind in hospitality sales, marketing, revenue optimization, and distribution, the statement added.
“I am honored to receive recognition from HSMAI, particularly alongside such esteemed industry colleagues,” said Jordan. “My passion for this industry runs deep, and I appreciate this acknowledgment.”
Red Roof’s 2023 SHE Leads Forum, held at Fairmont Dallas on September 28-29, aligned with the company’s SHE initiative, focused on supporting, helping, and elevating women in the hospitality industry. The forum saw participation from over 200 women professionals.
