Red Roof continues Room in Your Heart campaign

The company will donate 5 percent of participating guests’ discounted room rates to charities

RED ROOF INN is continuing its Room in Your Heart campaign through February. The campaign offers discounts to guests while benefiting charities.

Guests who check in at any Red Roof brand can use the promo code “VP 627380” to receive a 10 percent discount on their room. The company then donates 5 percent to Flying Horse Farms and the Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation.

Flying Horse Farms provides a camping experience for seriously ill children and their parents. NETRF conducts research on cures for neuroendocrine cancers.

“Doing good is in our DNA at Red Roof,” said Marina MacDonald, Red Roof’s chief marketing officer. “The Room in Your Heart campaign has been a resounding success. With Valentine’s Day in February, there is no better time for us to continue our giving campaign, honoring and donating to causes that are near and dear to us and helping those in need through programs, activities and research.”

Guests must book directly through Red Roof to participate in the campaign.

“Our medical specialty camp provides healing, transformative experiences for 900 children with serious illnesses, and their families, each year, free of charge,” said Nichole Dunn, CEO and president of Flying Horse Farms.

Elyse Gellerman, CEO of NETRF, also thanks Red Roof.

“On behalf of all neuroendocrine cancer patients and their families, our mission is to improve, extend, and save lives,” she said.

Red Roof also held the campaign in November and December.

Maya Patel, a Red Roof Inn owner in Saraland, Alabama, said at the time that response was positive from her guests.

“A lot of the walk-in guests are not aware of the program, but after explaining the discount along with a portion going to charity they are very pleased,” Patel said. “I think it’s a great thing Red Roof has implemented by giving back, that’s always a great thing and a great feeling.”
