Dhruv Management to develop two Red Roof hotels in Florida

DHRUV MANAGEMENT IS to construct a HomeTowne Studios by Red Roof in Tampa, Florida, as well as a new HomeTowne Studios in Bradenton, Florida, with its affiliate Dhruv Development. Dhruv Management is led by Vijay Patel and Dhruv Development is led by Amit Patel.

Dhruv Management owns and operates two Red Roof hotels in Alabama and Florida and has four more properties in various stages of development through Dhruv Development.

HomeTowne Studios Tampa will have 124 extended-stay suites, and HomeTowne Studios Bradenton will provide a 124-suite property for long-term visitors, Red Roof said in a statement. Both properties are set to open in 2024.

HomeTowne Studios Tampa is situated near Tampa Airport and attractions such as Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, The Florida Aquarium, Tampa Theatre, and Tampa Riverwalk. Meanwhile, HomeTowne Studios Bradenton is located near TKTK.

In December, Red Roof unveiled Red Roof Inn in Hutchins, Texas, a 41-room hotel owned and operated by Jay Patel, introduced to Red Roof by a friend and existing franchisee.

U.S. EXTENDED-STAY HOTELS ended 2024 strong after a slow start, with supply, demand and room revenue growth outpacing the overall industry, according to The Highland Group. However, ADR and RevPAR growth lagged yet stayed positive, with stronger gains in the latter half.

The Highland Group’s report on the U.S. Extended-Stay Hotel Market 2025 found that although below the long-term average, extended-stay supply growth in 2024 was the highest since 2021 and is set to accelerate over the next one to three years.
