DEI Advisors wraps up 100+ interviews with hospitality industry leaders

DEI ADVISORS HAS announced the successful completion of over 100 interviews with esteemed leaders in the hospitality industry. These interviews, conducted with CEOs, CMOs, CDOs, general counsels, and presidents from large brands, ownership groups, management companies, and lending institutions, have provided invaluable insights and perspectives, DEI Advisors said in a statement.

“The interviews offer a wealth of information, featuring insights, perspectives, and advice from successful hospitality leaders on various topics, including networking, overcoming challenges, achieving work-life harmony, leadership, and self-care,” the statement added.


Among the guest advisors featured in these interviews are industry veterans such as Anthony Capuano, president and CEO of Marriott International; Keith Barr, CEO of InterContinental Hotels Group; Mark Hoplamazian, CEO of Hyatt Hotels Corp.; Geoff Ballotti, president and CEO of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts; Patrick Pacious, president and CEO of Choice Hotels International; Elie Maalouf, CEO of Americas at InterContinental Hotels Group; Leslie Hale, president and CEO of RLJ Lodging Trust and Gilda Perez-Alvarado, Global CEO of JLL Hotels & Hospitality, along with best-selling authors, educators, and other professionals associated with the hospitality industry.

DEI Advisors distributes its video interviews through LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube. The company has also made audio interviews available through Apple, Spotify, Google, and other podcast platforms. Its website contains a library of all interviews and bios of the leaders interviewed.

Founded by Kong (the former CEO of Best Western Hotels & Resorts for 18 years) in June 2022, DEI Advisors is a non-profit organization that aims to empower women and other underrepresented groups to achieve their career goals. It has also gained recognition as one of the "Top Podcasts for Hospitality within a short span of time."

In January 2023, Dorothy Dowling, who had served as the chief marketing officer at Best Western Hotels & Resorts for 18 years, made a significant career move by joining DEI Advisors as principal. The other principals are Lan Elliott, Rachel Humphrey, and Huilian Duan.
