Nick Baer is vice president of business development for financial company Stonehill, an affiliate of Peachtree Hotel Group. In the newly created position, he will oversee debt and equity investments for the company.
Before joining Stonehill, Baer was senior vice president at Jones Land LaSalle. He has a bachelor’s degree in real estate from the University of Georgia.
“Nick has deep experience and a successful track record in commercial real estate lending, and he will contribute meaningfully to Stonehill’s strategy for growth and operational excellence,” said Brent LeBlanc Stonehill’s executive vice president.
Peachtree Hotel Group heads Jatin Desai and Mitul Patel are principals of Stonehill and members of the company’s investment committee. In January, Stonehill reported that it had closed on $100 million Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy loans for nine properties during the fourth quarter.
