PEACHTREE HOTEL GROUP and its affiliates, Peachtree PC Investors for capital markets and Peachtree Hospitality Management, made four changes at the senior leadership level recently. The promotions are intended to support the company’s real estate investment platform and operation services, according to a statement.
The Atlanta-based company, led by Jatin Desai and Mitul Patel as managing principals, promoted Greg Zabinski as executive vice president, capital markets for Peachtree PC Investors. Vivian Clarke is now senior vice president for people and culture. Steve MacKenzie was promoted to senior vice president over operations for Peachtree Hospitality Management, and Michael Ritz is now senior vice president for investments.
“The success Peachtree is experiencing is creating significant opportunities for us in the talent space,” said Greg Friedman, Peachtree’s CEO. “These promotions support our strategic growth objectives, and we expect to have additional promotions and appointments as we further scale up our operations.”
An investment banker, Zabinski holds a bachelor’s degree in management with a certificate in finance and a minor in economics from Georgia Tech. Zabinski started his career with New York-based Citigroup and later worked with Morgan Stanley in private wealth, analyzing and investing in private equity, hedge funds and option-related strategies.
Clarke will oversee Peachtree’s human resources, compliance and employee relations and benefits. An alumnus of Georgia State University, she has been with Peachtree since 2018 after previously overseeing all aspects of human resource management, including training and development and EEO compliance for more than 10,000 employees.
MacKenzie’s responsibilities include the financial performance of Peachtree’s portfolio of hotels ensuring franchise procedures, regulations, and standards. An industry veteran, he joined Peachtree in 2018.
Ritz, who joined Peachtree in 2017, will oversee all new investments by Peachtree. He holds a master’s degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and a bachelor’s degree from Stonehill College. Previously, he worked for Marcus and Millichap’s National Hospitality Group.
“These four are transformational leaders with well-established track records of achievement. Their contributions have been invaluable to not only growing the business but also creating a great company culture for our team,” Friedman said. “I am pleased that we have been able to grow our talent from within and look forward to the contributions they will make in their expanded roles.”
In January, Peachtree Hotel group announced that it reached a record $2 billion capitalization.
